Sat. Feb. 10 to Fri. Feb. 16- Sun City AZ

Saturday- Today was Shopper’s Paradise, so we went over and set up the table at 8 AM. There were 14 empty tables this morning. Things are not going well for this sale. I sat at the table until 12, but it was a waste of time. Not that many shoppers. I have the feeling we might not be having this sale next year!

We went to lunch at Dicky’s BBQ since Bob had the dream about eating BBQ. We stopped at Deseret Thrift store. This is the second time at this thrift store and both times I have been very happy. This time I bought an Alfred Dunner skirt for square dancing. $5. It looks like it had never been worn and they had just removed the tags. What a deal!

We returned home and read our books. We went to dinner with Ray and MaryAnne at Rosie’s Italian Restaurant. We had a great meal and closed the place. They finally asked us to leave, as they close at 7:30 and it was 8:15. We were so busy talking, none of us realized we were the only folks left in the restaurant!

Sunday– We did our usual laundry and budgeting. We had a quiet day today, reading and watching TV. We ate dinner at home.

Monday- I worked on articles and Bob worked on scanning some pictures and forms. We spent the day at home and had a quiet evening.

Tuesday- I was off to the Retired Nurses Breakfast. Julie, a gal that I met at the card making on Friday, picked me up and was my guest at the breakfast. The speaker was from the Lions Club, basically trying to recruit us to be members. Wow, the Lions do a lot and they will inaugurate their first woman International President this year! Julie paid her dues and joined the group

Bob continued to scan pictures and documents onto a scan drive, while I went to my hair appointment. We read our books, ate dinner and went to the Sun City Square Dance Valentines Day party. I wore my new skirt I had bought last week. We had a great time and are pleased that our dancing is improving.

Wednesday- I had trouble sleeping again and so I was up early and worked on an article. We were out the door by 8:15 to head to Tivoli Gardens Restaurant for the Alfa monthly breakfast. I rode back to the park with Karen as we were attending the Stamp ‘n Up card class. Judy joined us and we had a great time.

Judy drove me back to the MH and we ate lunch. Then I worked more on articles and Bob worked on more scanning.

Thursday- I went to Mahjongg and  Bob worked on measuring for a wood working project. After Maj, I returned home, we ate lunch and went grocery shopping. We stopped at the library, dropping off and picking up. We returned home and cooked dinner. We were off to Sun City West to dance.

Friday- A very busy day! I went to the card class at 8:30 and returned at 11. We at lunch and went to Tempe to a Square Dance Clothing shop. A lady runs this out of her house. Bob bought 3 new shirts and I bought a skirt and a top. Actually, I bartered the top, giving her a paid of shoes.

We stopped at Costco for gas, $2.19 gal, then picked up a few items. The place was crazy busy!

We returned home, ate dinner, and went to our class. I was useless. I have not been sleeping well and I really needed to stay home. We only stayed for the hour and returned home. I still did not sleep well…
