Sat. March 15 to Fri. March 21- Sun City AZ

Saturday  and Sunday-  I worked and Bob went to more yard sales, and estate sales looking for another bike.

Monday- Happy St. Patrick’s Day- I drove to work so that Bob did not have to pick me up. I went in and worked from 7-3:30 instead of my usual 7:45 to 4:15. Bob decided to stay in bed with his canine companions.

The parade started at 3:00 and lasted about 20 minutes. Bob took pictures and said it was a lot of fun.  The pictures are not the best, as Picassa has not yet come out with an upgrade for Windows 8. I crop and fix the pictures but they won’t transfer into the blog.

The Sun City Pom have been on the Today show. They perform all over the valley. Most of these ladies live in the park, or they used to live in the park. The youngest is 57 and the oldest is 82. They were great.

After the parade everyone went to the pool patio for entertainment then dinner. Dinner which started around 5, but with the line, we did not start eating until about 6. It was the usual corned beef, cabbage, potatoes and desert. It was very good and was cooked by Fat Freddies, the park café.

Above is the park orchestra. They are very good. The Sun City Poms also performed but with the sun in the background the pictures did not come out very well.

Tuesday-  Our usual Tuesday with budgeting, Mahjongg, and nap. At 4:30  we went to the 13th Street Pot Luck, which today was not a pot luck, it was a Pizza party. We had a nice time and said good-bye to a lot of people.

Wednesday- I had my CPR class this morning. My last one, as my certification is good for two years. While I was gone, Bob cooked dog food and did laundry.

Thursday and Friday– back to work for me.. Bob continued to look for bikes at the various yard and estate sales.
